XPH - Bulk address change from Client group
In the old XPM we could bulk update client addresses for a client group, this functionality appears to have dropped off the new version, can we have it back please?
Thanks for all the engagement and sharing how valuable this feature is to managing your clients with Xero.
I understand the desire for another update and am pleased to share that this is something our product teams will be addressing and are working on developing within the new unified client experience.
I'll share more news here as this gets closer to release.

All we are hearing is crickets. It has now been a month and a half since the last response. Can we have an update as to how this is progressing please?

This feature is very important to our practice as we have many clients and have multiple entities and if the client changes address we have to manually go into each entity to update, this is somewhat time consuming. Please bring back old feature.

Over a month since their last response, 7 months since they removed the feature. And just waiting for them to give us back what we already had. A good distraction from the fact that they also can't fulfill our other requests.

If this takes as long to revert back as it is taking Xero to allow invoices to be sent from blue Xero at a time suitable for each state, I will be retired by the time this feature is restored. WA clients don't appreciate emails with invoices at 4am.
I am venting my frustration as a XPM user for 9 years, sitting here updating postal and street address for a client group, one by one because the feature "do you want to update related entities in this group" has been removed. Not progress at all. Why do we need the Country before the global address will google search if our settings for our subscription are in Australia, I will leave there.

Help refers to this function but the links take you to irrelevant information. Very annoying.

I believe we need a Global address list which lists all addresses and how many times it is used in the database against clients, similar to Client Groups.
A search feature will mean you can easily find addresses and merge duplicates. By changing an address it will change the address against all clients where the address is being used. This is a feature of a true relational database. -

Does Xero not understand the urgency of this matter? Please just revert us back to the old XPM as soon as possible.

The recent 'updates' to the clients section are a significant downgrade to the previous version. Why do pointless updates that diminish the functionality of your product?
Lost so much time (and made mistakes) due to Xero's decision to remove key features from its software for no good reason. Please stop spruiking how good you guys & AI are and just revert the previous version of the clients section. The last 'update' was a significant downgrade and functionalty in that section is terrible at the moment. Seems to be a trend with Xero in recent years.

I initially flagged this issue in the Beta forum in SEPTEMBER 2025 whilst our Practice was part of the Beta test group. Xero has been aware of this issue for almost 6 months. Our Practice has been without this integral feature for the same amount of time. Do better Xero.

Also, it's been exactly 3 months now, and all of this is just to get back a feature we already had. Let alone any of the other feature requests, which have gone completely unanswered.

It is a very poor reflection on Xero that you do not realise the importance of this time saving exercise, which also removes the element of human error and overlooking to update all entities at one and the same time

The sooner the better Kelly (Xero)!

The heart of the issue is this was an "intentional change" and wishy washy "we are looking into this matter" responses are wearing thin. It has been well documented by many users that this change is causing real headaches in database management. Time to stop talking and start doing something as if the plan is to wait and see I think you will find more and more disgruntled users. - my 2 cents.

Why is Xero not responding to all our very valid concerns? I feel we are all being ghosted. Time to front up Xero and explain. Better still action our requests and re-instate this feature immediately and make our lives easier!

The removal of this feature is very disappointing and more disappointing is the fact that after all the negative feedback about the removal of this feature in this thread, Xero has not provided any response since Dec 17, 2025 nor have they reinstated what was one of the very few useful and functional features of XPM. Would seem Xero have very little regard for their Admin users. Not happy, Jan!

Removing this feature from Xero means Xero is going backward. This was such an important feature for us and any accountant. All accountants always deal with multiple clients/entities belonging to same address.
Very very disappointed to see that this feature has been removed -

From an admin perspective this is unacceptable Xero! I have several clients part of enormous groups and having to update each address individually is time consuming and a waste of precious time.
If it aint broke don't fix it!!!!!

Very disappointed to see that the new update for Xero does not include bringing back the bulk address change functionality. New tagline: "Xero increases admin time in business" would be more like it.

Please can we have it back? One of the best things (if not the best) Xero did was allow the address update in bulk in XPM - us admin staff were actually ridiculously happy that day.
Now it just creates so much more work that really isn't in line with Xero's value of 'reducing admin time in the business'.
