  1. I would love for the Watched Accounts box from the website dashboard to show up on my phone app dashboard. Sometimes I just need to see a bank balance or expense balance while traveling. Currently have to go to online website to see those watched accounts on my dashboard. Would be super cool to have them on phone app dashboard as well.

  2. Reporting - Inventory - Sales by Item
    The old report has features the new Inventory Item summary report does not have.
    ie: Current unit price and Average Price.
    Please add these as columns to be selected in the new report.

    Thanks for your feedback, Jenny. Right now you could run the Inventory Item list report to include Unit Price and Average cost columns. Will be good to get an idea of the demand for this in the Inventory Item Summary report so we'll keep our eyes on the interest of this here.

  4. Multi row edit UI on expenses.

    I recent moved from Expensify, I've lost about 4 hours of productivity each week having to manually open and update 100s of expenses each week.

    I’d like to be able to update categories and VAT status on many tickets at once, a simple list view UI with checkboxes on the left and the ability to update more then one row at a time would work well.

With ever changing minimum wage requirements (UK only) which are based on an employees age it would be useful to be able to have a 'one pager' report that lists the employee name and the current age. Their age is data which is already in Xero as part of the employee profile. A report would be useful to help payroll staff check who needs to move onto new wages / salaries based on age groups.

  6. The ability to know which Direct debit mandate is the latest one among the many duplicate ones (for eg. have a time stamp or date or any indicator). If a customer's existing DD fails and they try to submit a new mandate but end up submitting it more than once, there should be a way in Xero for us to know which mandate was recently submitted so we can match the form accordingly, therefore avoiding errors with other duplicate submissions.

  7. Upload AR Remittance Advices within "Match" option within Bank Reconciliations
    I have noticed that when processing the Bank Reconciliation and matching bank deposits to raised AR invoices, the Remittance Advice can't be uploaded directly to the receipt under the "Match" option (see attached screenshot).
    However, under the "Create" option (next to Match then clicking "Add Details") there is the option to Upload files.
    Not being able to do this directly within Bank Rec matching means it is an inefficient process where I have to go back to the Customer account, look for the Invoice(s) that were paid and open it…

  9. When adding a new employee record, allow me to 'create new superannuation' during the process of creating their new record. Currently when adding a new employee record, I need to navigate away from the employee record to 'Settings > Payroll Settings > Superannuation' to add a new superannuation relationship. On the new employee record, when the pop up appears for superannuation, if you could add a spot to say 'Create New relationship' or something under the employee record - I'll buy you a beer.

  10. Expenses module: We want the ability to customise the Expenses Claim Reference.

    All expenses under the Reference are set as "Expense Claims," which makes it impossible to search specific claims/events or others. Can this not be customised within the expenses Module ?

    The recommendation from Xero is to revert to manual expenses, which defeats the objective of paying for the Expenses module. Any chance this can be added or will we need to remove the feature as there is no point paying for something we need to do manually?

  11. Instead of having the client simply click on "Accept" quote, they should be prompted to actually digitally sign the quote. If there is for example two people as the contact, then both of these owners need to sign the quote for it to be accepted.

  12. When you finish a pay run, the payslips and bills related to tax authorities are created like bills, but are not. You can view these faux bills as other bills, but you can't batch pay by cheque payslips nor will the bills sync with other softwares like a payables platform such as Plooto. This prevents the automated workflows created around bills from being used on pay runs.

  13. I would like to be able to see Customers and Suppliers on the top bar, without having to first go into contacts, this would make looking up customers or suppliers easier with less delay. I often select the wrong one in error and then it takes even longer.

  14. The Discuss Tab should have a history trail showing the user and date that a comment was submitted.

    Also registered comments should not be editable or removed once submitted. The ideal situation would be if the tab took on the functionality of a chat system also allowing to tag a user of that particular company in a discussion prompting a notification to the user.

    Once a transaction is processed, the notes should be attached to the transaction in the history and notes section for future reference.
