  2. Old payslips should retain the correct postal address for the employee for that time period. Don't update the previous payslips, just move forward with the new address for new payslips. People use their payslips for various different reasons, and tracking/validating their address history etc can be one of them!

  3. Ability for Payroll Admin to delete holidays. When an employee books the wrong day or is off sick during a period of pre-booked holiday and wants his/her holidays cancelled, the payroll admin should be able to delete the holiday but cannot.

  4. Right now it's not possible to run the statements for a contact having different currencies. The statements will show the outstanding amount owed according to the default financial setting currency of the contact. It would be nice if we invoice a customer in different currencies to be able to produce one statement showing the balance even if it convert the other currencies to the default currency. Or produce different statements selecting the different currencies each time without having to go change the default currency in the contact each time.

  5. Set the default time method for timesheets.

    Allow the payroll admin to set the default method for all employees to capture the timesheet details. EG set all employees to use only the time in and time out method not the hours method.

  6. It would be great if Zip could be categorised correctly as a "Buy Now, Pay Later" service, rather than "Credit Card" payment service. This would allow us to integrate it with xero invoices along with Stripe for example. Currently they come up in the same category so we can only choose one. Maybe it's time to add a buy now, pay later category for after pay etc as well.

  7. Would love to see the option to assign an expense approver to multiple expense submitters or even an 'Approvalmax' approver matrix function added to Xero Expenses. Currently using Xero Expenses to administer over 100 employees expenses and need stronger controls than central finance approving all. Happy to help design/ test!

Currently this badge is displayed for the additional people only when there's at least a first name associated with them, but often our "additional people" are only email addresses with no first/last names, an the only way to see whether the "included in emails" option has been enabled for them is to enter two nested edit modes (4 clicks total). This is really unnecessary. Just display the badge if the box has been checked!

  9. Flag duplicate leave entries on the same day
    We are extracting leave data through API to manage resourcing including leave booked. We have a few cases of employees with duplicate leave on the same day entered and approved in error. It would be great to see a flag or warning pop up to approvers and payroll admins where more than a standard number of hours leave is applied to a given day. The number of hours comprising a working day could ideally be set for each employee.

  10. Include the Share Invoice and click to open the invoice electronically so a credit card payment can be quickly processed. In the classic invoice you are able to do this. The new invoice format doesn't have the same option.

  12. Add Notes reference for Statement of Cash Flows for totals.
    When preparing financial statements it is not possible to add a Notes reference for total lines. This is extremely frustrating as we normally have a note reconciling the net operating cash flows to the net operating profit. This requires PDF correction after exporting from Xero.

    Please add functionality to add a Notes reference for total lines in financial statements.

  13. Currently you are able to select the tax scale Horticultural/Shearers but there is no default tax rate attached. Apparently if employee falls under this scale you need to select for reporting to ATO which means you have to then manually calculate tax when you do the pays which is not possible if you have multiple employees knowing which employee wants what rate as they all do not use the default. This also leads to errors if not picked up it doesnt calculate automatically. May I suggest that we urgently attention to have the default ATO tax scale rate included with…

  15. Reinstate "Voided" bills and invoices
    We have had an invoice created accidentally with sensitive payroll info, it was then voided without thinking and now that info is permanently in the xero file - we need to at LEAST be able to edit voided invoices (as you can at any other stage - ie maybe a "reinstate" so we can edit to remove this sensitive data, then re-void??!!

    Aaah wait, apologies Christine - I see you're referring to adding a % on to a line item rather than discounting by a %.

    There is no way to do this at present - we have a somewhat similar idea for adding freight charges across here

    Instead, you could add these type of items as additional line items in the invoice, and use Xero's inbuilt calculator to determine what the % of the invoice total would be. 

    Amounts are field will help you control where the tax is applied. 

  18. Hiding archived accounts from chart of accounts list when customising report layouts, perhaps with a tick box to show or hide the archived accounts. It makes the job of customising layouts so tedious when the old messy chart of accounts come up every time and you can’t hide the archived accounts!

  19. Ability to change a bank account to a different account type. e.g. A bank account that should be an equity type was added as a bank. To resolve this requires adding a new equity account type, transfer the bank account balance and archiving the old account. These could be avoided if we are able to change the account type in the COA.

  20. We use the search facility when trying to locate a previous invoice from a customer but the search doesn't show a summary of the items ordered (the "description" column) so could you perhaps add the "description" column listing into the search results when the down arrow is pressed that currently only shows the date and payment total. We find we need to go through so many invoices just to find the one which has a certain "product" customer ordered.
