  2. It would be useful if copies of invoice reminders could be sent to myself, so we have evidence of the detail of the reminder that was sent.

    Also, if invoice reminders get a reply, such as the person no longer works at a company, if would be helpful if those responses could be directed to my email. Also would be useful if we could get Read receipts on them.

  3. Please allow remittance advices to be sent to clients from a batch payment even if it contains an overpayment. There is something fundamentally wrong for there not to be an option for this. A batch payment of 100 invoices with an overpayment of 1 is not cause for there not being an option to send a remittance advice to my clients. I've had to search the page and manually extract it onto an excel file and then send to suppliers. Very time consuming especially if you make large batch payments for over 50 different suppliers.

  4. Being able to filter on the Short-Term Cash flow would be very helpful. For example, if I create an invoice but haven't sent it yet, it's included in the projected income, but if I can tell the report to only show invoices that have been "Sent" it would only include invoices that have actually been sent to the client.

  5. Develop the feature where Xero doesn't log user out time is extended for more than 60 minutes when it’s idle.

    Purpose: Because having to log in again can disrupt users' workflow, which some users had to be interrupted as they’re also taking care of their business at the same time.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest surrounding this idea, however we want to be open that we're unable to extend our log-out time past 60 minutes. Xero hold a lot of sensitive information including bank data and we're required to be as secure as online banking.
    Any session information running on a web browser can potentially be stolen. If the session does not time out. You then have an infinitely long vulnerability window to session hijacking. Our best option is to keep a tight expiration window on the session cookie, and regenerate them frequently. Even setting a long timeout doesn't help with this - too long a timeout will greatly increase the risk of invasion or potentially jeopardise your personal data and the safety and integrity of the Xero application itself. This is why we maintain control of this.

  6. Xero billing: Please make the packages pricing clearer on the monthly invoices.
    i.e. please add the package elements breakdown. It doesn't have to be a separate line item, it could even just be added to the text description, but showing one price, as per the invoices from xero, does not explicity explain that there is a breakdown for items mentioned. Seeing this clarity on the monthly invoices is very helpful for ensuring transparency from xero to its customers.     Thanks for your interest in this idea, everyone. We understand there are different ways our customers find useful when entering dates for invoices in Xero.

    Based on feedback our team are looking at improvements to the date pickers in new invoicing. While I can't confirm exactly what these will entail atm, we'll shift the idea to working on it and I'll be back to confirm when we have more of the detail.

  8. It would be great to have the ability to mark a bill as already paid when being entered.

    We use the bills email address for employees with company credit cards to submit receipts/invoices for purchases however, when these go into bills and before they can be reconciled, they get mixed up with bills actually needing to be paid. This is also the case for invoices we receive that are then direct debited, before the amount is deducted from our accounts, it's easy for these to be confused for bills that need to be batched and paid.   10. There needs to be a feature to turn off automatic notifications when an employee changes their bank account,
    Every time this changes in our system our Accountant gets an email.
    Apparently there is currently no way to turn this feature off.
    A bit irritating for him to say the least...

  11. I create a purchase order through the Xero App
    I go to Categorise to an account - on my iPhone it has a search accounts feature, on my colleagues Samsung phone there is no search feature - he has to scroll through all the accounts listed to find the correct accounting code
    Will this feature be added to Samsung phones?

    We also found this was the same when selecting Projects or Plant (tracking categories), on my iPhone I had a search feature, on his Samsung he did not and again would have to scroll through the extensive list…

Could you please consider adding the feature of adding and processing auto superannuation payments from each finalised payrun (eg button next to "File" that would prefil the contributions in the payrun and further to authorisation). A number of clients are asking for a payday super feature, and adding this feature directly from the payrun will minimise the number of "clicks" and processing time. This also would be a hot topic if moving to compulsory payday super.

  14. In the old Invoicing, when creating a new invoice the cursor would default to contact field so as soon as the screen opened you could start typing to bring up the contact. With the new Invoicing you have to click on the screen in the desired field to be able to type anything.

    Please fix this, it is extremely frustrating.

  15. Invoices submitted by contractors - Xero should have a tick box where we can tick 'I need to pay super on this invoice' and it tracks and records contractor super owing.

  16. At present when you create an invoice and then use the triple dot menu and "get Link" option you are presented with a overlay which gives you the Invoice link that you can give to the customer. But this link includes an extra querystring parameter utm_source - I want a setting that stops this being added to any links.

    The links currently look like this:
    https://in.xero.com/XXXXXXXXXX?utm_source=newInvoicingGetLinkButton

    And I want them to look like this:
    https://in.xero.com/XXXXXXXXXX

    They are long and ugly looking with the UTM parameter and current I have to remove this manually from every link. I also think adding…

  17. In the new invoicing, invoice date, drop down has tomorrow as an option, but in the drop down for due date this is not an option and have to go in to manually select the date which is time consuming this is something we use for most of our invoices.

    Hi team, returning to the idea here we're going to shift this to delivered with the existing ability to enter the keyboard shortcut 'T+1' that'll auto select Tomorrows date in the Due Date field.

Can the New Invoicing Template have a the original way to change the date instead of opening the date dropdown to then have to open the "Pick another Date" option if it's not today or yesterday.. If it was today it would already have that day selected, so why is it an option? just added extra steps to select the correct date..

    Hi team, the improvements to the date selector are now live to everyone! Thank you again, for all your feedback.

    Along with this change, we also recently released an update to date entry shortcuts so you can now enter the same shortcuts that you had with classic invoicing such as +0 or 't' for today's date.

    With copy and paste you'll find you can copy and paste dates however these will currently need to contain a '/' or '-' between the day-month-year to appear correctly.

    We appreciate there are other options when selecting dates that our customers would like to see and there are other ideas that you may also like to vote and join for updates.

    Thanks for the confirmation, Sally. We have some current work underway with the email send modal in invoices, however I want to be open that at the time the team are not extending to add new placeholders that can be used. 

    For now, as you may have found you can edit the default email to add the Contact Account Number before sending the invoice. Appreciate wanting something more automated and we'll continue to track the interest of this idea and share if there's any development. 

  20. PROJECTS if a client has multiple projects, can there be an option that you can bill all or some of these against one invoice.
