History and Notes - Export functionality for History & Notes

Hey community, just popping in with a quick update to let you know that export is now available in the History & Notes Report 🎉

As part of an update that also released for Payroll history this week, you'll now see an export button in the top right corner of the History and Notes report, and can choose between a PDF or Excel export of your full, filtered set of results.

    Absolute need for our business.
    We run all our Business Reporting through Power BI and our senior managers do not have access to Xero (nor do they want it).
    They want the overdue invoice report to be contained within Power BI for them to review and action.
    They then send notes to our accounts team for them to update against each invoice what's going on so that we can keep track of it, but it feeds through into the business reporting.
    Without the notes being exportable this makes the notes feature pointless for a medium size business who now have to waste time finding a solution around this.

    Feels like this feature is only really useful for small operators who manage their own overdue invoices personally.

    Absolutely needed. I have exported all clients details in order to add those into a new Xero account. However, I noticed I have lost all my client's notes/ clients rules I have been writing under the client's notes' section. Basically all my client notes data is lost now. I would love to trust Xero to store these.

    Absolutely needs to be exportable to aid control mechanisms around segregation of duty.

    I would like to be able to publish the History and Notes Report and share with clients, so that they can see what adjustments we have made, when preparing their Accounts and/or VAT Returns

    This is not a report for day to day use but when you need it (eg if you have reason to believe someone might be making fraudulent postings) it is mission critical. Really needs to be exportable.

    We keep invoices with issues or missing items in DRAFT tab, there is a notes function but you have to open each invoice to view. If we could export the listing with the "notes" descriptions this would help us resolve and track open items. We currently need to do this outside the system manually.

    We should (as Xero advisors/Bas agents) be able to export an Audit trail of everything all other parties have done in their Xero organisation file. Will this be a new feature soon to export the HIstory and notes section?
