    Hi everyone, a few different asks within the idea here and I'd like to confirm what is currently possible to help clarify. 

    We have recently released a new send modal with new invoicing - with this update you now have the ability to cc and Bcc emails when sending individual invoices from Xero with new invoicing. 

    While it's not possible to set default cc and Bcc email at the email template level at present this may be something we look into further down the line and we will keep you updated of any planned improvements through this idea. 

    For the time being, if there are other people for a contact that you'd like to ensure also receive emails you can add them as additional people to the Contact record and select to 'Include this person in emails sent to this contact'

    Thanks for your expressions and feedback in a bulk download or print facility for Files (either from the Files library or at an individual transaction level)
    We know that bulk operations can be handy, however at this time we have no plans to develop this functionality. We know it might seem like a small feat, however often even small change is more tightly woven and intricate to solve beneath the surface.
    While we understand this must be frustrating to hear, we’re currently focused on making improvements in other areas of Xero and are unable to prioritise a bulk download or print feature right now.
    However, in situations like these there are often connected apps through the Xero App Store that may be able to assist. We appreciate and will revise solutions that could fulfil needs in this space, but want to be honest this isn’t something we have plans for…

    Thanks for your interest in being able to send a PDF of an invoice via the Xero Network. 


    While this isn't something we're looking to develop atm. For those in AU and NZ you could look into sending e invoices via the Peppol network. 


    Through e invoices you can attach and include files as well as a PDF of the invoice - See more on Xero Central

    Hi community, as you've found Xero doesn't currently have a function that automatically tracks or calculates sales by sales person.

    In the meantime, you could use tracking when you record your sales, which will allow you to report based on sales made by each sales person.

    A suggested process is:

    • Create a tracking category called something like 'Sales Rep', and create category options within the category for each of your sales staff.
    • When a sales invoice or quote is created, you can include the staff member's name in the staff member (Tracking) field on the invoice/quote.
    • You can then use the Tracking reports to see the sales that relate to each 'Sales Rep' and calculate commission manually outside of Xero.

    Hi community, we appreciate many businesses have adopted single sign on with providers like Google, Microsoft Azure/Entra, and Okta to easily streamline logins to many applications and manage operational risk. Our team are staying close to votes and feedback of the idea here, and though we can't commit to development at this time, we will be sure to let you know of any progress toward enabling single sign on

    We appreciate all the feedback received through this idea, everyone. Taking on board all your comments there are two sides of the fence when looking at flagging an invoice as 'in dispute' - Looking at the ability to flag a bill/supplier invoice as 'in dispute', versus the ability to flag a customer invoice as 'in dispute'. It'd be good to get understanding of the interest in each individually so we've started a new idea for bills that you can add your support for. But to give clarity, currently we do not have plans for developing a flag for bills, or sales invoices.     Hi everyone, thanks for the idea and support here. We appreciate all the valuable feedback and ideas shared regarding adding item 7A to the Business Activity Statement.

    We understand that the ability to easily track deferred GST is crucial to your workflows.

    Currently 7A on the BAS is a manual field, which does not update the figures on 1B. To adjust for this, we recommended the following workaround:

    1. Enter the original purchase as BAS Excluded.
    2. Once you have the Customs Entry form N10, you're entitled to claim a GST credit. Create a Bill with the value of the Deferred GST showing on the N10. Code this to your GST account (820 in the default Chart of Accounts) using the tax rate GST on Imports so that it shows separately in the Transactions by BAS field report and gets reported under 1B.
