  2. Add CIS Deduction value to the Aged Receivables and Aged Payables reports. In the same way Outstanding VAT value is an option to include in the reports, also include CIS Deduction.

  3. Xero is very limited by only allowing 200 invoices to show on the page on the awaiting payment screen - a filter to exclude some clients based on the client type would be helpful
    e.g. creating a client type for direct debit payments would help reduce the number of invoices.

  4. Can we please have the ability to set a due date for an expense? Currently it is set as the day it is approved, but we pay all our expenses for the whole month, on the 15th of the following month. It would be good to be able to set this as default for any expenses raised.

    Hi team, appreciate your interest of this idea. While we don't have direct development for this planned right now we wanted to share a workaround that may help you here. 

    When adding the billable expenses to an invoice, you can override the unit price. Using Xero's inbuilt calculator, you include margin/mark-up by multiplying the unit price by the percentage you wish to mark up. 

    We understand this doesn't cover all situations of needs expressed. We will continue to monitor this idea and share if there's any progress. 

  8. New Invoicing: Auto adjust the account column width (or wrap text) so that the full account name can be seen when creating an invoice in New Invoicing. Currently users have to click on the account within each line to see the full account name. In Classic invoicing the account box automatically adjusts so that the full account name can be seen.

    Appreciate your feedback, everyone. Currently our team are doing some work on improving the line item grid (where you enter details of your invoice) this also involves providing the ability to view the full account name both when editing and viewing the invoice. For now we'll shift this idea to working on it and I'll share more news when this goes live. Thanks

  10. Currently, while raising the invoice, it is not possible to show the project names in the invoice above the works done. The works indicated in the invoice should be linked to the project and this project name should be shown in the invoice.

  11. Create the ability to allocate payroll items (eg Wages & Super) to multiple sets of tracking categories within payroll.

    The only way that wages can be allocated to tracking categories is via timesheets or Journals (and only one set of tracking categories is able to be included in the timesheet).

    This would be really helpful for many NFP's who require the ability to use two sets of tracking categories for all their expenses including Wages & Super (One set of tracking categories for departments and another for funding sources/grants).

  12. Have automatic superannuation payments be able to be paid via credit card, through xero. Currently there seems to only be the ability to make automatic payment via direct debit but it would be good if it could be made by a credit card.

  13. It would be great for those Approving Leave, to also be able to View the Leave Calendar that is currently available to Payroll Admin users in the Overview Window. Those approving leave need to know who else is on leave for the requested period, which we currently replicate in our Email Calendars, however it would be great to take this step out, it will reduce time and eliminate errors.

    We appreciate the interest in more customisation when sending documents from Xero, everyone. Currently in the space of new invoicing we have recently released a new send modal that enables the use of rich text formatting, and allows you to cc and Bcc emails.


    Currently this is limited to send of invoices with new invoicing only, however over time we will look at expanding this to other areas of Xero that you can send from. I'll keep you updated of any further enhancements surrounding this, here.

  17. Ability to view notes added within the contact details section from the list view.

    This would help with viewing contact notes across different contacts, for detail such as method of payment or terms of service.

    Thanks for your feedback on the thread. Though not useful for all, we did bring attention to the reports that could help some people in the forums here. 

    We'll continue to consider this and other ideas for customer statements as the platform evolves. 

    Again not a full resolve but another option that could be handy for some is the inclusion of the Outstanding bills link when sending individual invoices to your customers. Through this, persons of a contact will be able to view and get detail of the invoices they have outstanding with you at any given time. 

  19. Ability to specify which user has access to the lock dates.

    Purpose: To prevent clients from changing prior year figures in Xero after the financials have been published.
