AU Payroll - Superannuation Guarantee Charge form report
When a client fails to pay Superannuation Guarantee levy on time the employer should lodge a Super Guarantee charge form. Is it possible to develop a form where the affected employees can be printed & exported to excel to enable a simple "cut & paste"? If the ATO have started an investigation this can save many hours of work especially if the period covered is several years.

CIS deduction after retention - subcontractor invoices
When creating subcontractor bills and deducting retention, the CIS includes the retention when calculating the deduction
For example, XERO should read:
£250.00
minus 3% retention (£7.50)
£242.50
minus CIS (£48.50)
= £194.00HOWEVER, XERO calculates:
£250.00
minus 3% retention (£7.50)
minus CIS (£50.00) (off the gross amount not the amount after retention deducted)
= £200.00This means that CIS deduction is incorrect.
There is no way around this currently even though similar issues have been raised since 2019 on Xero discussion threads and no solution has been made.
The only way around it offered by Xero means that payment &…31 votes -
New Invoicing - Add line number
Add a new field for "Row number" in customized invoice. So that we can see how many lines items in one invoice & fulfill client needs.
31 votesHi Shawn, to make sure we understand the idea here - would you like this field to be visible to the contact. Say when a certain branding theme is applied? Or just an internal to view when creating invoices in Xero? Thanks

Remittance Advice on Spend Money
Ability to send remittance advice for bills not paid via Xero. So I am able to send remittance on “spend money” transactions.
31 votesIf the payment is occurring at a different time to the transaction being entered is there a reason why the transaction is not being recorded as a bill, Anne-Marie?
There are lots of efficiencies in how bills can now be created in Xero without much manual intervention so would be good to understand more of the detail behind your business needs, here.

Customer Statement - Option to remove allocated payments
Customer Statements - the current statements show payments allocated to invoices. This is confusing for customers who make part payments. Can Xero please bring in an option to not include payment allocations as our customers only want to view their statements by looking at the amounts they actually paid, not the break ups
31 votesAppreciate wanting to see a direct option within customer statements that exist in Xero.
An option here would be to run the Customer Invoice Activity report where you can filter by Source to remove payment type sources such as 'Receivable Payment'. Once set up this could be saved as a custom report to be run with your filters at any time. 🙂

Statements - Attach outstanding invoices
It would be a time saver if copies of outstanding invoices were attached when emailing customer statements
31 votesHI team, while it's not possible to include links to all outstanding invoices when sending a statement I did want to make sure you're aware of the option to include a link to Outstanding bills when emailing an invoice to customer.
From this link your customer will be able to see a total and the individual invoices they have outstanding to pay with you - more on this here

UK Payroll - Ability to change Pay Periods
We have hourly paid employees who get paid 12 x per year with either a 4 week or 5 week pay period. At present, Xero doesn't give this option to change a pay period within payroll calendars. There are only set pay periods.

UK Payroll - Access to communal time off calendar for employees
UK Payroll- Access to a communal time off calendar for all employees.
As a smaller business we try to have one employee off at a time where possible- it would be hugely useful if they could access a shared leave calendar in the same place as they request leave & submit timesheets from. This would pull data from my admin overview calendar and stop me having to create external calendar in iOS and another in android which leads to missing data etc and wasted holiday requests. They could see if the leave they want is available prior to the request.31 votes -

Under Bank Statements, you should be able to search all records with an Unreconciled Status. When you Search and select "Unreconciled" in the search bar, you still get ALL records -- reconciled and not.

UK Payroll - Report that displays time off balance at a given date
Time Off
1. As a senior manager I want to export a report, in one operation, a table of employee name and hours left to book, I need this to chase employees who are not taking leave and know the financial risk we are carrying in the business from untaken leave e.g.Employee name | Hours not yet booked | Hours booked but not taken yet
Fred 80 16
Joe 16 8
and so on.....- Any chance we could have a quick panel of employee unapproved leave requests so I can quick go through this in the morning (at the…

Repeating Invoice - Add dynamic dates to the repeated invoices
As it stands the "template" is largely superficial, whereas a template should be meaningful.
When I think of invoice templates, I think: unit prices, quantities, etc... much like your "repeated invoices" except the repeated invoices don't include dynamic dates. Monthly billing for a team is a nightmare.
So either expand the templates to include meaningful features, or add dynamic dates to the repeated invoices. Preferably the second option so I don't have to constantly rebuild invoices for my team.

Contact | List - View 'new' contact and contact group allocation
Currently there is very limited information on the contacts main page. All it has is the name and if they owe or we owe. It would be so useful to see if they are allocated to a Contact Group and what date they were added, and perhaps the last transaction (so we can quickly bulk archive contacts that have not been used for a while). This would make contact management so much easier, as currently we need to click into each contact one-by-one which is just not feasalbe, therefore resulting in a contact system which is very unorganised.

Invoices/Bills - Sorting Invoice number to be sequential
Invoice numbers to be sorted in sequential order so when you get past 9999 the invoices going to 10000 upwards don't then end up at the bottom of the list and out of order.
