The Pensions Act 2008 requires all employers to enrol their eligible employees into an auto-enrolment compliant qualifying workplace pension scheme, if they are not already in one, and pay specified minimum contributions. At the moment there is no way to check if and when the letter was sent to the employer. As this is a point on our audit checklist for all our clients would it be possible to add a field showing the date when the letter was sent out to an employee or ideally add it to a pension report.

  2. Can we please add a budget column to the statement of cash flows report. I find this report (once customised to reveal all account codes) very useful for showcasing cash received vs spend on taxes, assets, liabilities and business expenses. To be able to set a budget in the budget manager for cash flow will save hours preparing manual cash flow forecasts outside of xero.

  3. Can you introduce a "void " button please on the invoice listing page. We have dozens of invoices that have not been paid as customer cancelled order but we cannot void them in bulk. We would like to use the checkbox next to the listing of invoices and select "void" to do them all at the same time rather than one by one which we do not have time to do.

  4. Add a payment link to quotations so clients can pay on a quotation as well as an invoice.

    Purpose: This would allow clients to pay on the quotation sent.

  7. Since the new quote format was launched, we are no longer to insert a blank line in our quotes at the beginning of a new item. Previously, this allowed us to space out the quote a little so it didnt look too jumbled and allowed us to space the quote neatly over two pages instead of just having a line of a quote on the second page if it didnt all quite fit on the first. Please put it back to how it was and allow us to insert blank lines at the beggining of an item.

    Hi all, upon revisiting here we'll re-open this idea. 


    As you may have found - While possible to add a new line and drag & drop this to where you'd like it to sit in a quote. Once saved, blank lines that have no data in any field will disappear and lines with detail will condense. 

    Apologies for the earlier misunderstanding and we appreciate those who've feedback on the idea here too. 


    There aren't any direct plans for changing this behaviour for now. We have a keen eye on the interest here so please add your support through votes and importance. 


    For the time being, if you'd like to add a blank line in your quote you'll need to enter a character in the description field of the line - This could just be a hyphen or full stop 

  8. It would be really useful to have a report the same as the "Billable Expense Report - Outstanding" that shows the same info but for paid invoices, preferably with the ability to filter by invoice number or bill number

  9. It would be good to be able to see the bank account details (BSB and Account number) on the new bill screen when entering invoices to be paid. By having the contacts bank details on the entry screen you can easily check that the bank details in Xero match what is on the invoice. This would save time of having to go and open the contact to check that the details match - not to mention save time of having to download the invoice so you can view it while checking against the contact.   10. Ability to manage our loans in Xero. We should have the option to enter the interest %, term, opening balance, simple/compound interest and repayment period (monthly, annually, end of term etc.)

  11. Please can you add an additional account under expense type in the chart of accounts for corporation tax?
    One which will automatically post to the profit & loss in between 'Profit on Ordinary Activities Before Taxation' and 'Profit after Taxation'.
    The default setting of overhead and having it in with bank fees etc is frustrating.

  12. Roster Board for Employee Shift Management.

    A scheduling /roster to show employee shifts. That then can be reconciled against the timesheets submitted. The ability to also send the weekly/fortnighly schedule roster to each employee - or have them be able to view it on the Xero Me app. Have a clock in clock out feature on the Xero Me App to record when a shift starts and ends.

  13. It would be great to have the ability to mark a bill as already paid when being entered.

    We use the bills email address for employees with company credit cards to submit receipts/invoices for purchases however, when these go into bills and before they can be reconciled, they get mixed up with bills actually needing to be paid. This is also the case for invoices we receive that are then direct debited, before the amount is deducted from our accounts, it's easy for these to be confused for bills that need to be batched and paid.   14. My main business uses a Xero subscription moderated by a by a book-keeper.

    Is there are means to add personal non-business expense bank feeds into Xero under the same licence so they can be separately and privately monitored?

  16. Ability to track Sales representatives commission for each sale.
    Each invoice to a customer will require a commission calculation to be made and accrued to the reps account.

  18. Add feature on the Dashboard for users with the Adviser permission to add client notes.

    Purpose: Notes specific to that client can be held here so that other advisers who're less familiar with the client can quickly check what they need to consider when working specifically in that file.

    Hi everyone, coming back across this idea we do want to confirm at present for Sales you have Invoice numbers that do need to be unique in Xero. You could ask you customer to reference this as a look up. If you'd like to change this, you can set the Prefix and starting number from within your invoice settings and you'll find you also have options to set this for Quotes and Purchase Orders - More on this here 


    The 'Reference' field of a transaction is slightly different and does not need to be unique, many businesses use this in slightly different ways and I want to be open that we don't have plans for changing this behaviour anytime soon. 


    Appreciate there are some that would like to see a numbering sequence for bills and I'd recommend adding support to this idea where this is represented.
