  1. timesheet - indicate public holidays + add radio buttons selection for:
    1. pay as normal (public holiday)
    2. worked holiday + entitled to 1.5 pay + day time in lieu
    3. worked but not entitled (no extra pay or time in lieu)

  2. To produce a report that shows all expenses entered via the expense claim feature for a specific period, which also shows who entered the expenses and details of the claims?

    This is a useful feature required for comparing budgets and forecasting future cash flow expectations.

  3. It will be really great from the Aged Receivables Reports to be able to send Statements to Customers without having to leave the page and come back to it.

    A flag, on the Aged Receivables Reports, of when last a statement was sent will also be very useful.

    Hi everyone, appreciate this idea has been in a state of Under review fro some time. While it was something our teams we're looking into, this work has had to be put down with other priorities that have transcended. 

    For now, we'll shift back to 'submitted' where we can continue to track appetite. We'll be sure to let you know if there's any change in this space. Thanks 

  7. Ability to have a flag feature when potential duplicate expense claims are uploaded.

    Thanks everyone, we understand the interest for being able to pass on credit card and payment service fees to your customers.

    Atm, as some of you have noted - if you're using or set up Stripe as a payment service for your organisation you'll have the ability to pass processing fees onto your customers. This'll be included in the Invoice total when the customer clicks on the Pay now button in your invoice - you can read up on and follow steps on this here.

    Outside this service, while not automated there are ways to represent and pass on fees to your customers;

    • Add detail to your invoice payment terms so this is clear to your customer
    • If there is a default fee that'd be charged you might like to set this up…
  9. In New Invoicing can the Date field be left blank when in draft status as per previously. Regularly I create draft invoices and want to continue to be able to leave the date blank or to put tentative dates in before moving forwards int he process.

  10. As the old 'GoCardless for Xero' integration is no longer being developed.

    And the new 'GCiX' GoCardless as a payment service integration is even less functional.

    Stripe, Paypal, Tyro and eWay all have bank feeds.

    We need a functional bank feed for GoCardless.

    Hey everyone, thanks for all the support and engagement on this idea. 

    To be transparent with you all, building a dedicated bank feed for GoCardless isn't something we have in our plans right now.

    While we don't have a direct bank feed for GoCardless, we still want to make sure you can easily reconcile these payments in Xero - When your customer pays, Xero automatically reconciles the individual invoice payments and fees in a dedicated GoCardless clearing account. You'll then just need to manually reconcile the bank transfer when the payout from GoCardless arrives in your bank account.

    We’ll be sure to post an update here if our plans change.

  11. We have grant funding so wages as well as super needs to be applied with the tracking code to acquit grant correctly. Presently, there is no availability to apply tracking codes against the superannuation, as well it is only available through timesheets for the wages.
    It would be very helpful if tracking codes could be applied directly with pay items in employee template (similarly like other software) so this can be applied when leave is taken also

  12. Hi there, we have been using tracking options for our projects and we have now reached the maximum number and reached the limit for it, but we don't want to delete the previous projects<. Just want to know, if we can increase options limit to numbers. Thank you.

  13. If a Xero client has a credit card that is cancelled due to scam or new card etc, the only option is to create a new bank feed for the card so you can continue to get the data. In this instance, you end up with two bank accounts on your Xero file, both with a balance. At the moment, you can only do a transfer to move 1 balance to the other, than archive the one not needed. It would be nice to be able to merge the two together so that the balance works and the transactions stay…

  14. A report that shows the total paying a supplier in a payment batch, currently we can only produce a Batch report that has individual invoices and a total over all but no total by supplier.

    Optional to have supplier bank details paying to would also be great

  15. It's unfathomable to me that it is not possible to do something as simple as output sales by state or by province or by country or by city. These are discreet fields in Xero and we ought to be able to filter a sales or P&L report to just include sales for some regions or to summarize by state or country. Right now all I can do is export all transactions and run everything through excel, which is not the way this should work. Thanks.

    Hi team, while not a fully fledged report you may find Smart Lists within a contact useful at present. 

    From Contacts you can set up and get a list of customers that meet certain rules that you've set up - such as 'Location' is and setting this to one or more locations your customers are based. 

  16. Allow a simple 'sort' function to re-order the view of expenses that have been 'done'.

    This should allow order by 'date of spend', by amount; category; etc

  17. Been trailing the new reports format and when setting up a custom group account layout for a Profit and Loss report we can't use this layout across Common Formats of Profit and Loss. This feature was available in the old reports that once a custom layout was created it worked on all formats. Been advised that would need to create a separate custom report for every Common Format

  20. We need to give a user the 'Invoice only (sales)' permissions but do not want them to view invoices created by other users or ANY sales figures such as 'total awaiting payment' or 'total overdue'.

    It would be incredibly useful to have tick box options for main permissions when setting up a new Invoice Only user. These permissions should include:
    - View sales totals
    - Approve invoices
    - View invoices created by other users
    - View Invoices awaiting payment tab
