Hi there, would be awesome to be able to have a column in the Xero Tracking Summary Report which would sum up the quantities from what you entered in the quantity column in the Receive Money/Spend Money when you reconcile the transactions. This is especially important when organisations are measuring the quantities (eg. number of trips taken; number of food parcels handed out) are used with Xero. As it takes a lot of time to go into each transaction and see what the quantities are to get the group total, this feature would save people a lot of time.

    We're continuing to track the interest for adding quantity as a column to the Tracking Summary report. This isn't something we have any plans for at present. If there are any updates we'll share with you here.

  2. Currently when you dispose of an asset from Fixed Assets, there is a fixed journal in place where you can't change the codes.
    I would suggest that these can be customisable.
    Yes, it can be corrected with a manual journal but it would be more efficient if we could adjust the nominal codes.

  3. The new Sales Tax Report does not allow for a semi-annual tax reporting period. The non-profit youth camp I work for pays a small amount each year, and the state has us on a schedule to pay twice a year. That is not an option that can be selected, as the only options are Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually. Please add the option for a semi-annual reporting period.

  4. Management Reports: I would like to add reports created outside of Xero in my published Management Report packet that I send to clients. There should be a way to upload a PDF or excel document to the Management Report Packet from outside Xero

  5. Would like a pop out screen to view and edit transactions from the transaction report without having to arrow back to the report after each view/edit. Currently it is extremely time consuming with appx 7 back clicks to return to the report after each individual view/edit.

    We've reviewed your suggestion, and it's now open to gain support from other community members. We can definitely see how having to click back and forth to the report after each edit is a time-consuming process.

  7. Fixed Assets - Add tax depreciation for UK
    At the moment, only the Australian version of Xero offers a tax depreciation function. We need this feature in the UK version too if Xero Tax is to be considered as a serious Tax software.

    We appreciate your feedback on how we could help you get more out of using Fixed Assets in the UK version of Xero.

  8. It would be really helpful if there was the option to add a planned payment date for all invoices listed on a particular aged creditors report. Having customised reports so that only invoices on particular job sites are listed, it then seems very inefficient to have to access 'bills to be paid' and manually, individually search each of the invoices listed on the report to schedule a payment date for them. Could this not be a function, whereby you can schedule them all for payment directly from the aged creditors report?

  9. PLS Report (EFT Reconciliation Report): Currently it merges first two fields of client name and surname and if that could be fixed with ability to export in .csv / excel please. It would be great if it PLS report could be exported in TrustEasy format to manage fee from refund (attached).

    Thanks for confirming, Jeremy. It sounds like the Gross and Net columns that can be included in the Account Transactions report would provide what you're after. Let me know if there's something I'm missing.

    Thanks for sharing your idea in the community here, Trevor. We don't have plans for adding Projects to other reports in Xero at present but we'll start to get a sense of the interest for this in your idea here and share if there are any changes.

  14. Small request: Include the cover & contents page by default, please.

    The following is info from a Support webpage... Publish a report from the Drafts tab. In the Accounting menu, select Reports. Select the Drafts tab. Click the menu icon kebab style menu icon to the right of the report you want to publish, then select Publish.

  15. Report to see when a customer account was opened/set up. When conducting customer credit account reviews it would be handy if there was a report to see what date a customer account was set up. So you are only reviews accounts that have been opened for a year. At the moment the only way to see when an account was set up is to look at the notes/history on each individual account.

    Hi Eilish, is there are particular way your staff are recording how they bill customers through your Xero organisation atm? - e.g are you using Projects, or Tracking?

    As you noted there maybe a report that we an suggest that'll fully serve your needs in this here.

  17. Like Sage I would like every item to have the VAT return Date and month it was recorded on attached to it and if/when it was adjusted which return the adjustment was submitted on as well.

  18. When exporting reports to Excel they are coming in with very narrow row heights. By Default Excel will create a row height 4 points larger than the font. Eg: default font is 11 points and row height is 15 points. If I increase the point size, the row height increases.

    My exported reports have the general data at 9 points but the row height is at 11 points - and I'm constantly having to modify my spreadsheets.

  20. As someone who is colour blind, I find the Budget Variance Arrows are similar / same colour which makes viewing budget variance at a glance a challenge.

    It would be great to have an option to have lines highlighted a colour if above/below budget instead. Even better if this colour option was customisable.
