  1. A report that shows the total paying a supplier in a payment batch, currently we can only produce a Batch report that has individual invoices and a total over all but no total by supplier.

    Optional to have supplier bank details paying to would also be great

  2. I would like to assign a tracking code to an account code to avoid having to manually edit every invoice imported from a plug in (in this case Cliniko). Imported volumes are large and it would be so much easier if it was automated.

  3. At the moment I am adding employee costs (wages) into xero projects.

    We have an option with bills to assign a project to that bill be awesome to be able to assign hours worked (with cost) to each of our projects in the timesheet section, and to set per line be good.

    eg;
    Monday project 1 - $250
    Tuesday project 2 - $300
    wednesday project 3 - $250

  4. Multiple sections in a single quote with their own separate totals.

    Purpose: when quoting on similar products with different pricing to present to a client, with their own separate totals. Currently, we have to send a separate quote to the same client which means they're receiving multiple emails from us.

    Just want to add that it's only possible for adviser or standard + reports roles to view, edit or post Manual Journals.

  7. The Xero bulk invoice import template makes provision to allow for the population of data into the available tracking categories that would correspond to same inside Xero. However, is it possible to do same with a project? Xero have since confirmed it is not possible to include project allocations when importing invoices.

    We have a high frequent need to import bulk lines of data each representing individual invoices, and we wish to use Xero projects, but need to be able to allocate the bulk upload of these invoices to the applicable projects inside Xero.

  8. It would be great if the Reference field was moved to the body of the sales invoice so that you could add item line referencing with the option to enable the referencing to print on the sales invoice.

    For example, a plumbing business completes work for a customer that has multiple rental properties. If the reference field was in the body of the sales invoice, they could add the applicable property address here so that they and the customer could differentiate what work was completed at each property for the invoiced period.

  10. Can we have the option to toggle or remove the contact name from the description column (ie in Account Transactions) so it is not duplicated and the description contains only the description now that we have the option to add Contact as a separate column which is a great new feature?

  12. Hi Xero Support,

    Could we please implement another field to use in Invoice and Quote templates which shows the total before discounts?

    I want to show my customer what they would have had to pay before the discounts were taken off the price.

    This makes a HUGE difference when trying to show customer their savings with applied discounts.

    We need to be able to present Total Before Discount - Total Discount - Price After Discount.

  14. While it is possible to use Find & Recode to edit the contact, it's not currently possible to use this feature to edit line item descriptions, this would need to be done on the individual transaction themselves.
    Can XERO please look into this and bring this new feature in future to save time.

  15. Since the new quote format was launched, we are no longer to insert a blank line in our quotes at the beginning of a new item. Previously, this allowed us to space out the quote a little so it didnt look too jumbled and allowed us to space the quote neatly over two pages instead of just having a line of a quote on the second page if it didnt all quite fit on the first. Please put it back to how it was and allow us to insert blank lines at the beggining of an item.

    Hi all, upon revisiting here we'll re-open this idea. 


    As you may have found - While possible to add a new line and drag & drop this to where you'd like it to sit in a quote. Once saved, blank lines that have no data in any field will disappear and lines with detail will condense. 

    Apologies for the earlier misunderstanding and we appreciate those who've feedback on the idea here too. 


    There aren't any direct plans for changing this behaviour for now. We have a keen eye on the interest here so please add your support through votes and importance. 


    For the time being, if you'd like to add a blank line in your quote you'll need to enter a character in the description field of the line - This could just be a hyphen or full stop 

  16. Include the payment dates and payments made when sending invoices to clients.
    Currently once the invoice is downloaded or sent to client, it shows the total amount paid, but not broken down by date as per the screen shot i have attached. Currently it only shows «InvoiceTotalNetPayments»

  17. Payment Schedule Date - add from other screens

    Make it easier to schedule payment dates. I love the ability to schedule payment dates but it is only available from one screen. It would be great to be able to add a schedule payment date from within the purchase. That would mean you could approve and schedule from the one screen.

  18. Roster Board for Employee Shift Management.

    A scheduling /roster to show employee shifts. That then can be reconciled against the timesheets submitted. The ability to also send the weekly/fortnighly schedule roster to each employee - or have them be able to view it on the Xero Me app. Have a clock in clock out feature on the Xero Me App to record when a shift starts and ends.

  19. Ability to import leave requests using CSV files.

    Purpose: To save users time from having to manually create a request to the employee, and approve it. This will also help if they’re using a third party that allows them to export CSV.

    Hi everyone, we've released a new send modal for new invoicing in Xero. As part of this update you now have a rich text editor that allows for small formatting changes such as bold, italics, underlining and the ability to insert emojis. 

    You'll also find other improvements like the ability to cc and bcc emails, and have more visibility of your emails and the PDF of the invoice with a preview on the left of the screen. 

    While this is limited to new invoicing at present, we will look into surfacing this to other areas of the product over time. We'll let you know of any further change for this, here.
