  1. Purchase Order Reporting
    The current work around of using the Outstanding Purchase Orders Summary report lacks a lot of the vital info that's needed to manage Purchase Orders and create accruals at month end. A report that shows all the - coding, tracking codes, dates, who created and who approved, Description, etc and ability to run reports on only those that are not Billed and both with and without detailed lines would be more helpful.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback here. We appreciate there are more details some in the idea here would like to see around reporting of Purchase orders in Xero.

    We wanted to highlight for those in the conversation that it may help - There are Purchase order common formats in the Payable Invoice Detail report that you could use.

    For example, in the All purchase orders detail report, you can add a column to show the account, tracking and any other line item info you need.

    We want to be open that we don't have any plans right now for additional Purchase order reporting, however we'll continue to keep an eye on the idea here and share if there is any news.

  4. The 'old version' Aged Debtors report 'aged' the figures into months (as it should).
    The new 'Aged Debtors' report does not.
    If you run it at month end 'such as June' then the 'current' period' picks up 30th June, then the next period picks up 1st to 29th June.
    It was reported to Xero support and their suggestion was......
    "As you’ve found, right now it's not possible to show the full month for the first month on the New Style report for Aged Receivables Summary. This is working as expected. Please continue to use the Old Style report as…

    Good news! Recently, we rolled out an update to all our ‘as-at’ type reports.

    Now, you’ll notice that the report runs as at the end of the current month by default, and all of the invoices for the month will appear in the column you expect them to. The Current column will still contain any future dated invoices when ageing by Due Date, but will always be empty now when ageing by Invoice Date - See our before and afters

  5. The report should be able to generate Employee Name (First & Last in separate columns), DOB, TFN, Bank Details provided, Super Funds & Address.

    We need various information like from time to time for reporting purposes but we cannot get it without having to click in to every single employees - which is hectic

  10. when printing or saving the employee summary report x group the name of the group doesn't appear. If doing multiple groups, this makes it difficult to know which group is which when referring back or from printed reports.

  13. Accepted Quote Report

    Great to see that we can now look at a report for accepted quotes but the report is not filterable by the accepted date - please can this be added to the date search for quote reports within Quotes through Receivable Invoice Details and Summary reports.
    At the moment the report isn't right as you can only search by due date and created date which is no good - the accepted date needs to be a searchable date or the quote filtered by accepted quotes is useless if you ant to see what quotes have…

    Hi team, to export a list of all Tracking categories in your org, you may find the Tracking Summary report of use to you here. Alternatively, you could run the Account Transactions report and Summarise by the Tracking category. 

    The one caveat here for both reports is that they'll only show a list of the tracking options that have been used within the date range the report is run. 

  16. Users should be able to generate a report of transactions without receipts attached. This allows small business administrators to identify which transactions don't yet have receipts attached.

  17. It would be a massive help if you could click on the figures on the CIS suffered report to see which customer invoices make up the report figures. Clients often ask me which invoices are included and I have to manually work out where the figures come from

    Hi all, wanted to share a workaround here for those who aren't already aware.

    You can run the Account Transactions report on a cash basis and if you filter it by the CIS Labour Income or CIS Asset account, you can see the invoices which have been included in the CIS Suffered report.

    We don’t have any plans in the near term to expand functionality on the CIS Suffered report. If anything changes in this space, we’ll update you on this idea!

  18. I need the ability to be able to print an expense report to provide to a client that includes all of the supporting documentation. All of the receipts are captured via Xero Expenses app but I can't print a report that includes them. To provide that information to my client...I had to screen shot every receipt and them insert them into a Word document. This isn't a workable solution. Please add this report.

  19. In the new format Bank Reconciliation report, can we please add a 'select' option for the bank account field, similar to the 'Account Transactions' report and how we can 'select' multiple CoA codes to look at at the same time?

    I have a client that has 30+ bank accounts, and having to run the bank reconciliation report 30 times to check if they are reconciling/have errors is very painful.

    Hey community, just following on from Kelly’s update a few weeks ago, you can now add multiple bank accounts to the Bank Reconciliation report 🎉

    In the new Bank Reconciliation report pack, you can now click ‘Add report’ to add in a new Bank Rec Summary report for each of your accounts - removing the need to run the report again each time you change bank accounts.
