  2. A report that shows the total paying a supplier in a payment batch, currently we can only produce a Batch report that has individual invoices and a total over all but no total by supplier.

    Optional to have supplier bank details paying to would also be great

  3. A default "Profit & Loss Detail" report is a standard option in pretty much every other bookkeeping system I've worked in and necessary for many companies.

    An additional option of running a standard P&L Report, but also being able to expand account sections to see the detail without opening a new report would be very useful for researching issues. It is tedious to continually run the report I need, only to click on one line item and then have to go back and run the original report again to continue researching.

  4. Purchase Order Reporting
    The current work around of using the Outstanding Purchase Orders Summary report lacks a lot of the vital info that's needed to manage Purchase Orders and create accruals at month end. A report that shows all the - coding, tracking codes, dates, who created and who approved, Description, etc and ability to run reports on only those that are not Billed and both with and without detailed lines would be more helpful.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback here. We appreciate there are more details some in the idea here would like to see around reporting of Purchase orders in Xero.

    We wanted to highlight for those in the conversation that it may help - There are Purchase order common formats in the Payable Invoice Detail report that you could use.

    For example, in the All purchase orders detail report, you can add a column to show the account, tracking and any other line item info you need.

    We want to be open that we don't have any plans right now for additional Purchase order reporting, however we'll continue to keep an eye on the idea here and share if there is any news.

    Hi team, to export a list of all Tracking categories in your org, you may find the Tracking Summary report of use to you here. Alternatively, you could run the Account Transactions report and Summarise by the Tracking category. 

    The one caveat here for both reports is that they'll only show a list of the tracking options that have been used within the date range the report is run. 

  6. Thanks for adding the new "compare tracking categories" in the new Profit & Loss Report.

    However, even with this additional development the new version of Profit & Loss Report requires you to manually add each tracking category one by one. Having the feature of "select all" reinstated as the old version did would be really helpful.

    Having limited tracking categories to 200 isn’t helpful, previously Xero was able to search across an unlimited number of tracking categories, but only report on the active ones.

    I’m sure there are many users that have more than 200 tracking categories (not always…

  7. The report should be able to generate Employee Name (First & Last in separate columns), DOB, TFN, Bank Details provided, Super Funds & Address.

    We need various information like from time to time for reporting purposes but we cannot get it without having to click in to every single employees - which is hectic

  12. I need the ability to be able to print an expense report to provide to a client that includes all of the supporting documentation. All of the receipts are captured via Xero Expenses app but I can't print a report that includes them. To provide that information to my client...I had to screen shot every receipt and them insert them into a Word document. This isn't a workable solution. Please add this report.

  14. It would be a massive help if you could click on the figures on the CIS suffered report to see which customer invoices make up the report figures. Clients often ask me which invoices are included and I have to manually work out where the figures come from

    Hi all, wanted to share a workaround here for those who aren't already aware.

    You can run the Account Transactions report on a cash basis and if you filter it by the CIS Labour Income or CIS Asset account, you can see the invoices which have been included in the CIS Suffered report.

    We don’t have any plans in the near term to expand functionality on the CIS Suffered report. If anything changes in this space, we’ll update you on this idea!

  15. I hope that there's separate columns for date and employee name as seen in the previous report as it's totally useful when summarising data for various period. For instance, when generating the old report, it's completely quicker to use the pivot table and other excel formulas to calculate the total hours work and the corresponding cost in a certain period and prepare a comparative report for various pay item/period and employee using the old payroll activity detailed report. It's a single payroll report where all the relevant information is included.

    Hiya team, thank you for sharing your feedback and letting us know the detail and why this is valuable to you. Based on feedback we received on the Employee name and Date columns the team have just released an update to the Payroll Activity Detailed report to include Employee name and Date as separate columns in the report and these will now show by default.

    This will help as noted when exporting and using the data for further analysis outside of Xero. 

  16. The ability to report on items sold each month (by quantity) on a month by month basis

    Purpose: Users can easily run a report to see how many items customer buy this month, then they can also easily print it

  18. Accepted Quote Report

    Great to see that we can now look at a report for accepted quotes but the report is not filterable by the accepted date - please can this be added to the date search for quote reports within Quotes through Receivable Invoice Details and Summary reports.
    At the moment the report isn't right as you can only search by due date and created date which is no good - the accepted date needs to be a searchable date or the quote filtered by accepted quotes is useless if you ant to see what quotes have…

  20. when printing or saving the employee summary report x group the name of the group doesn't appear. If doing multiple groups, this makes it difficult to know which group is which when referring back or from printed reports.
