Hi team, thanks for your feedback here.

I'd like to confirm that the ability for Payroll Admins to upload files directly to an employee profile is now live to all AU organisations with payroll.

You can find more details on how to add, view and delete files in Payroll on Xero Central.

We really appreciate the appetite and enthusiasm from customers in seeing this rolled out to other regions and we will make sure to share any updates on the respective ideas which I've linked below;

    I would like to upload employees medical certificates with received, is there a way to upload when I add their leave taken

    How can something be "top of mind" but have "no plans at present for this development"

    I strugle to comprehend the alleged complexity of a function that is already established in so many other areas of Xero?

    Would be great to add reimbursement documents to employee payslips and further details when needed. Please make this update ASAP

    In the employees' card it would be very handy to have a tab to drag and drop documents e.g. drivers' licence or any other HR documents like contracts, awards, letters from the employee, induction, anything in fact. Similar to the 'files' under the business name drop box. The 'notes' tab is good for that reason.

    This is the perfect place to store employment contracts (required by law / as best practice) while retaining privacy. Adding this functionality would be brilliant

    Is this still on Xero's backburner?? how many votes does a topic require for Xero to actually look at and at least start the process? Obviously it is something we all need and in this age of Privacy concerns I would have thought this is a real, topical and major issue and something you need to action. Soon.

    Over 100 comments. It’s becoming apparent that Xero development is not driven by the users. This is such a basic request it beggars belief why it was not in the original product design.

    I can't believe we can't just attach contracts, medical certificates etc against an employee. Seems like a big miss here. C'mon Xero, you clearly can attach docs in your platform... why not here?

    It appears that the power of the customer is not having any pull or worth in getting this function to be added. We need to add contracts, doctor certificates etc to the appropriate employee. Disappointed...and I know I am not the only one.

    Please implement this as soon as possible. This would assist with keeping payroll records private also. If we were to create a contact in the system to allocate the records to this would be accessed to anyone. Keeping it in payroll eliminates the risk of anyone seeing sensitive info

    I am constantly getting emails from Xero saying there is a new comment on an idea you supported - regarding uploading files to employees.
    From what I can see this started back in early 2022 - and Xero lastest response was in March 23.
    Is it possible for Xero team to give us an update on this request - a time frame would be great. Sorry if I have missed an update from Xero.
    There has been alot of support for this update so I am sure Xero members might appreciated it. Thanks

    Being able to add an employee's signed TFN dec and Super Choice Form to their Notes would assist greatly in the requirement by Fair Work Australia to keep these documents for seven years, while still maintaining confidentiality requirements under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
