  1. We are a multi-currency business. We send out invoices in GBP (base currency), EUR and USD. We have 3 bank accounts (GBP, EUR, USD. I therefore had to create separate invoice templates for each currency, to show the correct bank details. I added the relevant invoice theme when setting up a new contact (customer). This works well when raising an invoice. However when manually sending out a statement it does not take the invoice theme from the one chosen on the invoice (= in our case normally default invoice theme on contact).   2. When running the Payment Summary Details report for a previous financial year, the report does not show the dates of the financial year the data belongs to. The report is titled Payment Summary Details as at Today's Date. For example: it should show Payment Summary Details reporting period 1st July 2017 - 30th June 2018. For audit purposes, there is no way of determining the date range the reported data relates to.

  3. Ability to import leave requests using CSV files.

    Purpose: To save users time from having to manually create a request to the employee, and approve it. This will also help if they’re using a third party that allows them to export CSV.

  6. Kelly, the procedure to copy an invoice was improved, but it is still erroneous. We have tracking category (department) recorded in customer's settings. But for some customers we issue invoices with the other department tracking category.

    New invoicing does not copy that "other" category. When the invoice is copied, all customer's default settings applied to it. In my particular case, it is wrong. I do not want customer's default tracking category; I want a copy of the INVOICE with the correct tracking category. In short, the new invoice is to be an EXACT copy.

    Classic invoicing did not have this…

  8. Work and Income deduction as a reducing balance under statutory deduction. Work and Income have provided a total amount and a weekly amount to be paid there needs to be a function added to provide the reducing balance, this function is available in other statutory deductions.

  9. Would it be possible to create a contact who is a "sub contact" of an existing contact. For example we perform work for a strata management company. Every invoice is made out to [name of strata company] but the contact details, email address and physical address are all the same - that of the management company. I would love to create [strata management company] as the main contact with all the strata "divisions" they manage below them without having to create a new contact for every single new building. What are my chances?

    Appreciate where you're coming from with this idea, Kirsty. 

    Right now you could create a Contact Group, and have each related contact assigned to that contact group. Get what you're saying with the efficiency when having most of the same details - for now perhaps importing via csv would help create these in less time. 

    We also have an idea for the ability to copy a contact, and another for contact group statements that you might like to join and follow. 

    We'll start to get a feel of the interest for this type of feature here, and I'll let you know if there's any change planned.

    Hi team, while not a 'default' option for this within Xero, you could achieve this using a Custom DOCX branding theme, with an advanced invoice template.

    With the template open in Microsoft Word, you can add the ContactPhysicalAddress merge field where you want their Delivery Address to appear.

    You can add your logo and make any other changes you'd like, before saving the file and uploading it back into your branding theme in Xero.

    You'll then want to select this custom branding theme for your invoices.

  11. Currently if termination date falls in the middle of a pay cycle, the final pay run will not calculate the staff pay pro rata and therefore payroll admin has to manually update the payslip. Please include this feature so Xero constructs the payslip taking into consideration the termination date whilst still using the employee card details (rates, deductions etc etc).

  12. It would be good to be able to set a mark up margin for loaded products and services. This way when our cost goes up we could just alter the cost price and it would automatically adjust the sale price rather than us having to work it out for every item and load it manually.

  13. The new bills view has totally rearranged the columns and the column widths. I have already added my own vote to adjusting column widths but i really need to be able to sort my bills view columns in an order that is easier on the eye, and neck, instead of bouncing from from one side of the screen to the other unnecessarily.

  15. Approve employee leave requests directly from notification email.

  16. If you receive a lot of payments on the same day (20th of the months) would be useful to select the paid invoices all at once and send the receipt to all clients at the same time rather than have to open every single transaction and send the receipts individually

    Alternatively could be a feature on invoices were you choose to send receipt automatically upon payment received.

Bank Transfers - they are great and easy - but it would be awesome if we could just improve them in the following ways - some of these suggestions incorporates other suggestions - but thinking if you are working on improving this functionality - it would be great to do it all at once.   19. I have around 100 billable expenses each month, I click on the 'Billable' in Expensify and that comes through to xero, but there are many that need to be entered into xero directly.
    We need a report showing unbilled expenses where we can click on the items to mark them as billable in bulk, rather than line by line, which takes up a lot of time.
