Bank Reconciliation Report - Ability to run for multiple bank accounts at once
In the new format Bank Reconciliation report, can we please add a 'select' option for the bank account field, similar to the 'Account Transactions' report and how we can 'select' multiple CoA codes to look at at the same time?
I have a client that has 30+ bank accounts, and having to run the bank reconciliation report 30 times to check if they are reconciling/have errors is very painful.
123 votesHey community, just following on from Kelly’s update a few weeks ago, you can now add multiple bank accounts to the Bank Reconciliation report 🎉
In the new Bank Reconciliation report pack, you can now click ‘Add report’ to add in a new Bank Rec Summary report for each of your accounts - removing the need to run the report again each time you change bank accounts.
Thanks again for all your feedback on this one 😊

UK Payroll: Report on employee age
With ever changing minimum wage requirements (UK only) which are based on an employees age it would be useful to be able to have a 'one pager' report that lists the employee name and the current age. Their age is data which is already in Xero as part of the employee profile. A report would be useful to help payroll staff check who needs to move onto new wages / salaries based on age groups.

VAT Reconciliation Report - Auto-populate and drill down into figures
An updated, functional VAT reconciliation report.
The existing VAT reconciliation report isn't particularly useful. It has to be populated manually and the figures that do populate automatically can't be drilled down into. Not helpful.
VAT reconciliation aren't really a problem for us as we can use the Detailed Account Transactions report to identify the transactions posted directly to the VAT account i.e. transactions that have a category of VAT, whether it be a VAT payment, VAT on imports or just simply a miscoding by the client. Essentially it highlights those transactions that will affect the VAT ledger balance but…

UK Payroll - Add reimbursed expense to gross to net report
The gross to net report currently doesn't include reimbursed expenses, and possibly other things we haven't found yet so the net pay doesn't agree to the payslips! Please can we have a gross to net report that agrees to payslips? Failing that even a report that shows reimbursed expenses per employee would be better than nothing.

Reports: Show net profit or loss on Trial Balance report
Showing profit of Loss on Trial Balance (at both Client XERO Blue and advisor) Reports
At present the trial balance report does not show profit or loss, can or will XERO recode the report in client reports(XERO Blue) and in the advisor templates. This is something I believe all accountants and bookkeepers will welcome the change, as the would improve workflow.
Please refer to trial balance from competitors software (has printed that way for over 30 years)24 votes -
AU Payroll - Report for Unused Leave Paid out on Termination
When using the Leave Paid out on Termination feature in xero, the paid out leave is recorded in the Holiday Leave Accrual category. This means we are unable to run a report showing the value of unused entitlements paid out on Termination. This is important information for Workcover Reconciliations etc. Please set up a report for Unused Leave Paid out on Termination.

Purchase Order - Report that shows invoice against PO and remaining balance
A report that shows all purchase orders with invoices against them and balance remaining.
52 votesHi community, we want to update you that we've recently released the ability to include Purchase Orders (PO) through Payable Invoice Summary report. If you expand the side panel on the left of the report and select the 'Outstanding purchase orders summary' report, this will automatically display all Bills, Credit Notes and Purchase Orders and group them by Contact for you. You can use the total row of each contact to infer the remaining balance.
We're aware this may not directly show the information that you’re asking for here, so we'll keep the status idea as it is and we’ll let you know if there’s any further updates.

Reporting | Copy custom report - Editing Shortcut
When selecting a published report to copy for the next period, it would be ideal if there was a copy and edit option in the shortcut options. This would allow users to create a copy of the report from the main menu instead of being required to open the report and then selecting the option.

Report's - GST Audit report, option to print PDF version by Account number
When reviewing the GST Audit Report we are able to sort by account number, but when printing in PDF it reverts back to date sort order. Can we have an option to print to PDF in account code order.
107 votesHi everyone, as you may have seen in recent communications - We've rolled out a new and improved New Zealand GST experience.
While we've made many changes, we want to be open that transactions will only print in date order. This isn't something we have plans for changing in the near future and we'll move the idea to not planned. If our position of this changes at any point we'll be sure to update you of this here.
