An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Leona Kelly commentedNot sure if this is same as OP means, but for us it'd be really helpful (especially if Xero ever adds option for multiple planned payment dates so that we can offer instalment plans to customers) if we could set one of the automated payment reminder emails to be triggered by planned payment date instead of due date. Ie if customer misses planned payment date could Xero send them our chosen email reminder like it currently can for invoice due/overdue

Hi everyone, we appreciate the importance of being able to view and understand where billable expenses have and haven't been assigned. While we have keen eyes on the idea here, with other big pieces of work on the go we want to be open that this is not in the roadmap atm.
We want you to know we're taking on board all your feedback here, and will continue to stay across this, and keep you updated of any news or progress that'll improve visibility for your needs here.Leona Kelly supported this idea · -

Hi everyone, thanks for your ongoing interest and support for this idea.
We understand the complexities surrounding calculating holiday pay for employees in the UK, and acknowledge the need to provide a helpful way to calculate an accurate rate in which to pay out their holiday.
Our product team are excited to share that this is an area we are currently looking into developing.
Your feedback and ideas are extremely important to us. As such, we’d like to reach out to our valued community members to get involved in prototype testing, commencing later this month.
The testing will involve using a prototype tool to assess the usability of a proposed way of calculating Holiday Pay in Xero. We'd encourage users that feel strongly about this area of payroll to sign up and welcome users of all experience levels.
Given the popularity of this idea we expect spaces to fill up…

This is a critical requirement for UK payroll calculations. This affects employers whose workers have regular overtime aswell as those with zero hours workersThis should be a new holiday option though, not editing an existing holiday setting in Xero - as many xero users will already be manually accounting for this statutory requirement and if an existing setting us changed it will result in errors for them!
Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) – UKEATS/0047/13 - Bear Scotland Ltd v Fulton (2014)
The EAT found that regular overtime, which employees are obliged to perform if requested by the employer, should be included for holiday pay purposes...EAT – UKEAT/0334/16 - Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council v Mr G Willets and others (2017)
This case concerned 56 council workers who repair and improve housing. The EAT ruled that payments for purely voluntary overtime should be included in holiday pay if they are regular enough to constitute ‘normal payThere are many more UK legal cases where employer has lost tribunal case...

An error occurred while saving the comment Leona Kelly commentedPlease can you update Xero so that we can set repeating invoices to be assigned (at the point of set up) straight to their project; rather than needing to add project after invoice creation - as it's too easy to miss the adding of the project with current limit on functionality

Hi everyone, a few different asks within the idea here and I'd like to confirm what is currently possible to help clarify.
We have recently released a new send modal with new invoicing - with this update you now have the ability to cc and Bcc emails when sending individual invoices from Xero with new invoicing.
While it's not possible to set default cc and Bcc email at the email template level at present this may be something we look into further down the line and we will keep you updated of any planned improvements through this idea.
For the time being, if there are other people for a contact that you'd like to ensure also receive emails you can add them as additional people to the Contact record and select to 'Include this person in emails sent to this contact'
On the other hand, if you'd like to ensure…
An error occurred while saving the comment Leona Kelly commentedI use the 'email payslips' and 'email pension letters' functions in Xero but I have a client who I would like to migrate to Xero who requires payroll@ to be copied on ALL payroll related emails
I do this in the existing software by inputting each employees email address as " private email; payroll@..." which gave aperfect solution as anything being emailed to an employee automatically is copied all required parties
In Xero the [safety checks] email address cannot be accepted as it isn't one true email address
Is there an way in Xero to cc myself or a selected email address on the emails sent from Xero by me team?

Hi community, we appreciate this idea has collected a fair amount of votes and commentary. This has all been shared with, and considered by, our product team - so they have an understanding of the work that would be required for this.
We'd like to confirm that, at this stage, the automatic generation and sending of reports is not something we have plans to develop in the near term. We are still interested to get a clearer understanding of demand for this feature, and we'll continue to track this through the conversation and votes on this idea. If there's any change we will let you know!

Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate your input and letting us know your appetite for being able to set the Reply to address for your Xero organisation, here in the idea. As many will have seen with new invoicing, our team have begun testing and making small change to the send experience. While we've been able to make these changes when developing other areas of Xero, we want to be upfront that we don't have a timeframe of when we'll upgrade the email settings page just yet, but this is something we will get to in time - when we do our team will also review the Reply to address options as part of this. So, though there is no movement to share on this just yet please know we will let you know here as soon as there is.
